Do I need design or tech skills to use a template?

No. Carrd is built to be simple, visual, and easy for anyone to use. With that, customizing a template should feel straightforward and intuitive.However, if the site includes code embeds, some basic coding skills come in handy to adjust them. Thankfully, we live in a time where AI can do the heavy lifting — just use AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or Google AI Studio to help you update the code. Simply copy the code from the embed element, paste it into your AI of choice, describe the changes you want, and paste the updated code back in. Voilà!
Can I change fonts, colors, or layout?

Yes! everything is fully customizable in Carrd. Fonts, color palette, images, icons, structure, spacing, and even animations. Make it completely yours.
Are images included in the template?

No. The images and custom icons (which are treated as images) are not included when you clone the template.
